Born in Oak Park, IL to parents Mary and Bill, and sister Pat.
Bill graduated from WIU in 1964, where he met his wife, Jean (Marsh) Hunter. They resided in Barrington, IL for over 35 years. Father to Cheryl (Bruce) Janu and Keith Hunter, grandpa to Brennan, Quinn, and Logan, and an uncle to many.
Bill first worked as a PE teacher then salesman for Shell Oil Co, later owning and managing a Shell service station in Rolling Meadows, IL. He worked for Anheuser-Busch until retirement. He and Jean moved to The Villages in 2004 where he loved to travel, golf, and spend time with new and old friends.
He is preceded in death by his sister and wife.
