A homeless man was arrested for trespassing after repeatedly returning to bathe in a service station restroom.

An employee of Sunoco, located on U.S. Hwy. 27/441, saw 34-year-old Sean Glenn Rigsby come into the store and use the bathroom to bathe close to midnight on May 15, according to an arrest report from the Lady Lake Police Department. Rigsby then filled a drink cup with frozen slushy and drank it before paying. The employee subsequently ordered him to leave the store.

Close to midnight on May 20, Rigsby came back to the store, and the employee again told him to leave. The employee contacted law enforcement to report the incident, but Rigsby was gone before officers arrived. At 11 p.m. the following day, Rigsby returned, and the employee ordered him to leave once more. He was gone before law enforcement got there, the report said.

Rigsby returned to Sunoco at 5:30 a.m. Thursday. The employee ordered him to leave again and contacted law enforcement. An officer responded to the call but was unable to find him. However, the officer came back to Sunoco and spotted Rigsby walking in the grass adjacent to the car wash on the property, the report said.

The employee identified Rigsby as the trespasser, and he was arrested, the report said.

Rigsby was charged with trespassing and transported to Lake County Jail. Bond was set at $1,000.

He was also arrested in Jan. 2023 for stealing a beer from a Wawa in Leesburg.
