Roy Roosevelt Wilson, 90, from Bushnell, FL, passed away on June 17, 2025. He was born in Silver Creek, Kentucky on October, 15, 1934 to Christopher and Ella Wilson.
Roy was a Christian in faith, enjoyed deep water fishing, horses, car racing, NASCAR, and wrestling. Most of all Roy loved spending time with his family.
He is survived by his children: Ricky Wilson, Jimmy Wilson, Cindy (Ronald) Strickland, all of Bushnell, Florida, Michael (Angel) Wilson of Ridge Manor, Florida and Ronald Roy Johnson Wilson (Carolyn) of Tennessee, grandchildren: Kourtni (Jacob), Michael (Crystal), JD (Lindsey), Chance (Wendy), Kayleigh (Ryan), Savannah (Ross), Christopher (Morgan), Riki (Branden), Laramy (Andrea), Liberty (Julian), Amber, Brisyn (Thomas), Summer, Michaela, Ronnie and Tessika (Travis); 26 great grandchildren; sister in law Pauline Wilson.
Roy is preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Wilson, son, Rodney Wilson, brothers, Eugene Wilson and Woodrow (Barbara) Wilson and parents, Christopher and Ella Mae Wilson.
A viewing will be held at Purcell Chapel, Beyers Funeral Home in Bushnell, Florida on Friday, June 27, 2025 from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. with the service starting at 11:30 a.m. Interment will follow to Linden Cemetery in Webster, Florida. Services to be officiated by his grandson, Christopher Wilson.
