Born on June 18, 1953, in Flushing, New York, Peg was the beloved daughter of Charles and Eleanor Daley and one of eight siblings. She grew up in a bustling household filled with love and laughter, which shaped her nurturing nature and strong family values.

In 1976, Peg married her husband, Leonard, with whom she shared 49 beautiful years of marriage. Their love story began in New York, and together they created a loving home for their two amazing children, Jessica and Jonathan. In 2017, Peg and Leonard embraced a new chapter in their lives by moving to The Villages, Florida, where they enjoyed their retirement years surrounded by sunshine and new friends.

Peg was a proud graduate of Jamaica Vocational High School and furthered her education at CUNY, where she studied Library Information Science. She dedicated many years to her career at Equitable Life Assurance before transitioning to a role as a Technical Information Specialist, where her skills and expertise shone brightly.

A woman of many talents, Peg had a passion for life that was evident in everything she did. She loved to travel, bowl, and golf, and her adventurous spirit was matched only by her love for mystery novels and shows. Peg was also a devoted caregiver, always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need. Her commitment to her community was reflected in her roles as a Religious Education teacher, Girl Scout Leader, and a certified Aging and Hatson Aide for senior citizens.

Peg is survived by her devoted husband, Leonard; her beloved children, Jessica and Jonathan; her two brothers, George and Joseph; her sister, Adele; and her cherished granddaughter, Breana. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Eleanor, and four siblings: brothers Gerard and Thomas, and sisters Mary Ellen and Jane.
