
Born in Buffalo NY, he was called home to the Lord on Monday June 30, 2025 at the age of 94.
Predeceased by his parents Stanley and Celia (Nowak) Bukowski and spouse Joan F (Lavrey) Bukowski.
He proudly served in the Navy from August 1948 to August 1952 on the battleship USS Missouri during the Korean War. When he came home he married, raised his family until retirement in 1986, when they moved to Florida, first in Lehigh Acres then to The Villages.
Still needing to do work, he applied at Publix and worked there in both cities until his health forced him to retire from a job he had fun doing. He loved watching football and hockey and played golf. He was a member of American Legion Post #347 in Lady Lake Florida.
Survived by daughters Carol C and Barbara (Allan) R and grandchildren Jeffrey (Joie) B, Alexander (Natalie), Hannah (Kayden) Jordin, Kayla B, Andrew, Austin, Brian (Melissa) B, Chantel, Candace Charlotte R, Makenzie, Skyler. The graveside service will take place at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida July 18, 2025 at 10:30am.
