The League of Women Voters will co-host a Legislative Debrief on Sunday, July 20, from 2 to 4 p.m., at Mary Sue Rich Community Center at Reed Place (1821 NW 21st Ave.) in Ocala. The event is free and open to the public.

Hosted in partnership with Equal Ground and LWV’s local partners, All About the Ballots, NAACP, Black Women’s Roundtable, and AKA, this event is a chance to:

  • Learn about key legislation passed this year
  • Understand how these laws affect our rights, schools, safety, and daily lives
  • Ask questions and hear from civic leaders and policy experts
  • Get equipped with tools to take action in your community
