Betty Jane Bailey, 81, of Oxford, Florida passed away on July 3, 2025.
She was born in Washington, D.C. on December 31, 1943 to Baxter and Jacqueline John. She was a Methodist in her faith. She enjoyed knitting, gardening, playing cards, she loved traveling, and most of all, spending time with her family.
She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Jim Bailey of Oxford, Florida; sons: Steven Bailey of Waxhaw, North Carolina, Mark Bailey of Oxford, Florida; grandchildren: Brooke Bailey, Stella Bailey and Adam Bailey; sisters: Jackie (Jerry) Moe of Center Hill, Florida, Beverly (Ron) Reger of Longwood, Florida; brother: Donnie (Tammy) John of Ocklawaha, Florida.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Robin Lynn Bailey, parents Baxter and Jacqueline John and brother, Jimmy John.
A celebration of life will be held at the home at 10038 Hwy 301, Oxford, Florida 34484 on July 20, 2025 from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
