The Sumter County Board of County Commissioners has approved a resolution to rename the portion of County Road 470 east of U.S. 301 to the Central Parkway roundabout as Central Parkway.
“These updates aim to improve navigation and provide clear guidance for residents, visitors, and emergency responders traveling through the growing community,” according to a news release from the county.
Signage reflecting the new name will be installed the week of July 21. Sumter County’s digital map services will be updated accordingly.
