A man with a stolen motorcycle was found to have methamphetamine concealed in his anal cavity.
Kai Cameron Huff, 36, of Inverness, was driving a pickup at about 12:30 a.m. Wednesday traveling on County Road 475 when he began driving straight toward a sheriff’s deputy’s patrol car heading in the opposite direction. The deputy was forced to take evasive actions and began pursuing the pickup.

During a traffic stop, the deputy noticed a burnt piece of aluminum foil and a small silver spoon, according to an arrest report. The items were indicative of drug use. The deputy also noticed the odor of marijuana coming from the pickup. A search of the truck turned up about 4 grams of marijuana and a containing which held several plastic dime-sized baggies, aluminum foil and a cut plastic straw with the residue of fentanyl.
In addition, the deputy discovered a black Yamaha Virago motorcycle strapped down in the bed of the pickup. A search of the motorcycle’s vehicle identification number revealed it had been stolen from a residential parking lot in Lady Lake. The motorcycle was missing its assigned license plate. There were other motorcycle parts in the bed of the truck.
When Huff was taken in for booking at the Sumter County Detention Center, a search revealed he had methamphetamine concealed in his anal cavity.
Huff was booked on multiple drug charges and a felony charge of theft of a motor vehicle. He was being held without bond at the jail.
