The homeowner at 322 Olanta Drive in the Village of Caroline has been ordered to cut the grass within seven days.

On March 26, a complaint was received by Community Standards about overgrown grass, weeds and dead bushes. During an inspection on Thursday it was determined that although the bushes were no longer out of compliance, the property remained out of compliance for the overgrown grass and weeds.

The board agreed to give the Mundells, who have lived in the home since 2006, seven days to mow the grass and remove the weeds to bring the property into compliance. If they fail to do so, the District will maintain the lawn at a cost to the homeowner of $250 per occurrence.
