An Ocala man and a Lady Lake teen were arrested after he got busted with marijuana and she harrassed the officers who caught him.

An officer observed 21-year-old Dontrell Wells speeding in a black Mazda 3 on West Lady Lake Boulevard near Hawthorn Avenue around 7:10 p.m. Tuesday, according to an arrest report from the Lady Lake Police Department. Rader confirmed he was going 35 miles per hour in a 25-mph zone.

The officer stopped the vehicle near Rolling Acres Road and spoke with Wells, who did not have his license with him. He instead provided his name and date of birth, which were used to reveal he had a warrant out of Marion County for violation of probation. He was detained, and the warrant was confirmed, the report said.

More officers arrived on scene and inventoried the vehicle before it was towed. They found several burnt marijuana roaches in an ashtray. In the glove box was a clear plastic baggie with 8.4 grams of marijuana, the report said.

During this process, 19-year-old Harmony Hutchinson came to the scene and approached one of the officers. She was given a loud, clear warning to stand back at 25ft. She initially walked away but came back to record them. She escalated to yelling and cussing at the officers to harass and distract them from doing their job, the report said.

Wells was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana (less than 20 grams). The Indiana native was transported to Lake County Jail with bond set at $1,000.

Hutchinson was arrested for approaching first responder with specified intent after warning. She was taken to jail and released after posting $500 bond.
