Ultimate garage condos with a starting price of $275,000 are under construction three miles east of Lake Deaton Plaza on State Road 44 in Leesburg.
The Apex Auto & RV Vault company is constructing 17 garage condos with a completion date this fall.
Each of the 17 garage condos will have 20 foot high ceilings and measure 50 feet by 25 feet. Each of the condos can be customized to meet an individual’s needs.
The garages have overhead roll-up doors, separate entry doors, 100 amp electrical service and fire sprinklers. The plans call for a 25-foot-by-16-foot loft space with a restroom and shower as well as office space and a custom bar. Each unit is rated to be able to survive a Category 4 hurricane .
Apex Auto is owned by Michael “Micky” Blackton, who is based in Orlando.

Matthew Hanna Construction of Leesburg is constructing the condos. Each unit will have climate and humidity controls.
