Judith Ann Achor Rowe, of the Villages, FL, passed away peacefully on August 16, 2025 at the Seniors Umbrella Hospice House in Summerfield, FL surrounded by loved ones.

Judy was born February 6, 1944 in Weymouth, Massachusetts to the late Walter and Cora Card Achor. She graduated from Norview High School in Norfolk, VA and DePaul School of Nursing. She worked as an Operating Room Technician at DePaul Hospital for several years then enjoyed being a stay-at-home mother to her three daughters. While a stay-at-home mom, she loved serving as a school Room Mother, canning fruits and vegetables, and making homemade Christmas Decorations. She went back to work for the City of Virginia Beach Treasurers Office where she worked for 30 years.

Judy loved life and living in The Villages, FL. She loved music, dancing, and spending time with friends. She was well regarded for her party planning and organized many golf tournament receptions, service organization dances and fundraisers, and neighborhood events. But most of all, she loved her family.

She is survived by her husband, Mills T. Rowe of the home, daughters and sons-in-law, Tracey Antley and husband Mark of Chesapeake VA; Lori Gentile and husband John of Milton, FL; and Kristie Verniel and husband Marc of Blacksburg VA. She is also survived by her five beloved grandchildren: Evan Antley, Rebecca Antley, Andrew Ruderman, Jake Verniel, and Riley Verniel.

A Celebration of Life will be held later this Fall in The Villages, FL.
