
Ernest Brown, 91, of The Villages, Florida, passed through the Pearly Gates of Heaven on August 21, 2025. Born in Seward, Kansas, Ernest relocated to Salinas, California, in his youth and remained in the Bay Area until retirement.
A proud veteran, Ernie served in the United States Marine Corps from 1955 to 1959, embodying dedication and honor. Following his military service, he pursued a distinguished career in law enforcement in California’s Bay Area, where his commitment to public safety touched countless lives.
He made many new friends in his final years with his final home being The Villages of Florida. He enjoyed driveway parties with neighbors, golf cart rides with his beloved dog Honeybun and time with family. In October of 2024, he went on the Honor Flight Trip of a Lifetime to Washington D.C. He was given the privilege of representing the USMC and placing a Wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldiers.
Ernie will be remembered for his strength and integrity. He leaves behind a legacy of service and love.
