The law is clear when it comes to golf carts and handicapped parking

To the Editor:

I really don’t understand what the controversy is about golf carts and handicapped parking spaces. The Florida law is very clear that Handicapped Parking spaces are for Registered Motor Vehicles only! Golf carts as a rule are not registered motor vehicles, the only exception under the law would be for Street Legal registered golf carts.
