U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement put a hold on a Leesburg man who was stopped without a license in Wildwood.

A deputy observed 33-year-old Miguel Reyes Guillen driving a blue Chevrolet pickup truck eastbound on State Road 44 at 6:55 a.m. Wednesday, according to an arrest report from the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office.

The deputy noticed the tag lights did not fully illuminate the license plate, leading to a traffic stop at the intersection with County Road 229 in Wildwood. Reyes Guillen advised that he did not have a driver’s license and handed over a Mexico ID instead. Dispatch then confirmed he did not have a license, the report said.

Reyes Guillen was arrested on charge of operating a motor vehicle without a valid license. He was transported to the Sumter County Detention Center with bond set at $150. He also had holds placed on him from Pennsylvania and Colorado as well as ICE.
