A Sumter County woman was pronounced dead at the scene of a rollover crash which occurred Saturday night in Lake County.
The 30-year-old Bushnell woman was driving a 2002 GMC Sierra shortly before 10 p.m. traveling westbound on State Road 50 east of Sloans Ridge Road, west of Mascotte, when she failed to negotiate a left-hand curve and ran off the road, according to an accident report from the Florida Highway Patrol.
The pickup overturned several times and the woman, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was ejected from the vehicle. She died at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation.
