How ironic! “Affordability.” Affordability is the new campaign strategy of the Democrat Party (DP). Racism and climate change no longer have any effect. Housing, food, energy, transportation, medical care have become “un-affordable.”
In December of 2020 the overall consumer price index for shelter (housing) alone was 1.8%. During the four years of the Biden administration the same index in each December was 4.1%, 7.5%, 6.2% and 4.6%. Importing 10 to 15 million illegals eliminates availability of housing and drives up the cost for everyone. During the Biden Administration, crude oil prices increased 33%. Meat prices alone rose 45%. Four million new illegal children consumed 68 billion in school costs. Healthcare for illegals costed taxpayers 16.2 billion under Biden.
This was 125% more than Trump’s first administration. Some sources project net costs of illegals range from about $150–260 billion annually at federal, state, and local levels, with per-taxpayer impacts around $1,156 per year. Last year, New Jersey spent $7.3 billion on illegals. The cost to each taxpaying worker was $1,600 and each household was $2,100. As of 2018, there were 560,000 illegal immigrants in NYC alone. How many more were imported during the Biden Administration (remember the $400 a night high rise hotels that were full of illegals?) During the Biden Administration, billions of dollars were illegally redirected from congress approved programs to transport, feed, house, educate, provide medical care, support and protect the DP’s new illegal voters. The average inflation rate in 2020 (Trump’s last year) through 2024 respectively was: 1.4%, 7.0%, 6.5%, 3.4% and 2.9%. There was no concern for affordability when they drove up prices and overwhelmed your communities with 10 to 15 million illegals?
Following four years of the DP’s train wreck of policies causing inflation and un-affordability, the DP could offer no platform to campaign on in the last presidential election that you would believe. So, as the midterm election cycle comes closer, and you listen to the DP politicians complain about affordability, listen for promises to lower your cost of living. But, those are empty words. Watch their actions. Did they care about affordability when they drove up the price of a gallon of gasoline from an average of $2.20 to $3.45. This campaign strategy is for votes because they have nothing else to offer. Irony; when the DP expresses their concern for your unaffordable cost of living they created.
