Cherie Farlow O’Hara died on December 4, 2025. She was born on November 27, 1942, in Salisbury, Maryland, and was a lifelong resident of Maryland before moving to The Villages, Florida, in 2007.

Cherie retired from administrative work prior to her move to The Villages.

Cherie enjoyed bird watching, bridge, Mah Jongg, sailing, quilting, travel, and humor. She was proud that she knew how to fly small airplanes, and she found great pleasure in staying within the lines with good colored pencils.

She is survived by her son, James L. Doran, Jr., of Baltimore and his wife Dr. Beverly Doran; her two granddaughters, Chloe E. Doran and Lily I. Doran, of Baltimore; and the children of her late husband, B. Michael O’Hara: Babs Godoy of North Carolina and Brian O’Hara of Virginia.
