
Sandra Kay Rickerson, 73, passed away in Tampa, Florida on December 10, 2025.
She was born in Bushnell, Florida on July 20, 1952 to Hubert and Eunice Hawes. Sandra was a member of the First Baptist Church of Bushnell. She was a hard worker, intelligent, caring and always went above and beyond in everything she did.
Sandra was a teacher at South Sumter High School and after furthering her education she became the librarian. Later, she and her family opened, Central Florida Locating, where she became the President and worked alongside her husband and son for many years. She enjoyed going to the beach, fishing, boating, shopping, traveling and most of all spending time with her family.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years: Marvin Wiley Rickerson of Bushnell, Florida; son: Morgan Wiley Rickerson of Bushnell, Florida; sister: Katherine Upton (Ron) of Bushnell, Florida. She is preceded in death by her parents, Buck and Eunice Hunter, brothers, Frank Hawes, Andy Hawes, and sister, Liz Handley.
A service will be held at Indian Hill Baptist Church at 11am on Saturday, December 20, 2025.
