Mary Saam, 92, of Summerfield, FL, passed away peacefully on November 20th, 2025 surrounded by her loving family.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Henry J. Saam. Mary’s greatest pride and joy were her five children, whom she lovingly called her “fabulous five.”
She enjoyed watching her family grow to include 7 grandchildren and 1 great-grandson. Mary was a dedicated servant leader in her Catholic church as an instructor to youth, counselor to young couples and serving her parish community as a Eucharistic Minister and Lector for over 50 years.
She will be remembered for her immense kindness and the positive impact she had on countless lives.
A Funeral Mass will be held at St Timothy Catholic Church, Lady Lake, FL at 8:30 a.m. on January 20, 2026. Burial will be at Zachary Taylor National Cemetery.
