U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement placed a hold on an Oxford man who was stopped without a valid license or work visa.
An officer saw 29-year-old Antonio Colorado driving a gray Honda Civic around 12 p.m. Wednesday, according to an arrest report from the Wildwood Police Department. He wore headphones on both ears, leading to a traffic stop at U.S. 301 and Switcher Road.

Colorado then handed over two Mexican driver’s licenses, one Mexican motorcycle license and a Tennessee vehicle registration. He admitted he did not have a license issued to him in the United States. Additionally, a check of his documentation revealed his work visa had expired in June 2024 and had not been updated. He had been living in the United States and working for a construction company since 2024, the report said.
He was subsequently arrested on charge of operate motor vehicle without valid license and issued a warning for the use of headphones while driving. He was transported to the Sumter County Detention Center where bond was set at $500 and ICE put a hold on him.
