Villagers can learn about services offered by Seniors vs. Crime during a meeting Tuesday evening at El Santiago Recreation Center.

Community Development District 2 Supervisor Tom Swiers will be hosting the question-and-answer session from 7 to 9 p.m.

Seniors vs Crime is special project of the Florida Attorney General. This presentation will include an overview of crimes targeting seniors and a synopsis of common scams with special mention of financial scams and how to avoid them. Handouts will include “How to Protect Yourself”, “Financial Industry Fraud 101 pamphlet” and “Broker Check card”, “Senior Helpline card”, “Phone Scams” and other handouts. This presentation will last approximately one hour and will include ample time for questions and answers. This presentation is open to all residents of The Villages.
