Dorothy Stephany, passed away on February 5, 2026 at the age of 91. She was born in Rockledge, PA on September 24, 1934 to the late Anthony and Ann Winkelspeckt.
Dot worked for ARA Services and Honeywell Inc and later moved to The Villages from Horsham, PA in 1996. Over the years, she belonged to the Silver Lake Women’s Club, Silver Lake Golf Group, Guys and Dolls, Pennsylvania Club and the German/American Club.
Dot was preceded in death by her husband James and son Glen Duffy.
She is survived by her brother Walter Winkelspeckt and stepson G. Wayne Stephany both who live in PA; granddaughters Andrea (Ryan) Ismert and Laureen Stephany; 2 great grandchildren and great niece Rebecca (Dwight) Thevenot of Texas. Her close personal friends Peg Morin and Janet (Robert) Adam who will miss her dearly.
Dot will be interred at Florida National Cemetery on Wednesday April 22, 2026 at 1:00 pm.
