
James Cleston Green, age 87, passed away peacefully on February 14, 2026, in Webster, Florida. He was born on May 20, 1938, in McKenzie, Alabama, to Jesse and Mavis Green.
James was a lifelong farmer who dedicated his life to hard work and providing for his family. He loved the outdoors and especially enjoyed fishing and spending time with his grandchildren. Nothing meant more to him than having his family by his side.
He is survived by his daughters, Jane Hawes (Robbie) of Webster, Florida, and Linda Salters (Harry) of Floral City, Florida: son-in-law: Wayne Raulerson; grandchildren, James (Ashley), Jesse (Sierra), Daniel, Candy, Daphne, Marsha (Adam), Cleston (Tiffany), Frankie (Ciara), Jonathan (Abrielle), Kevin, and Tina, and Cherie, along with several great-grandchildren who brought him much joy.
James was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse and Mavis Green; his daughter, Mavis Whitman; his grandsons, Brian Davis, and Bubba Raulerson; and his granddaughter, Alicia Watson Davis.
