A Tampa-based company has acquired a recreational vehicle community near The Villages for $3 million, just a few weeks after another multi-acre property nearby changed hands for over $12 million.
Better Times RV Community, LLC, acquired the 11.3-acre site at 1336 County Road 459 in Lake Panasoffkee from Viking Living, LLC, for $3,050,000 on Jan. 16, according to a deed filed with the Sumter County Clerk of Courts.

State corporate records show that Better Times RV Community is owned by LCG Park Management, a company based in Tampa. The principals of the company are listed as James P. Nault, Yale Nicholas, and Simone Buschbeck-Fraser.
A layout of Better Times RV Park shows that it holds several dozen RV sites, onsite restrooms, WiFi access, laundry facilities, and a clubhouse.

The RV park’s website shows long-term, monthly rental rates of approximately $550, exclusive of utilities costs.
In addition to managing the newly acquired RV park, LCG Park Management also owns Silver Springs RV Community in Marion County.
Sumter County property records show that Viking Living LLC acquired the property from Beissel Investments, Inc., for $1,200,000 in Feb. 2014.
The sale comes just a couple of weeks after Inter Continental Real Estate Development, an Illinois-based real estate firm, acquired a property along County Road 470 for $12.4 million.
Both recently acquired sites are situated just a few miles west of The Villages.
