A sales representative for The Villages has been arrested on a drunk driving charge.
Jordyn Rottermond, 32, of who works for Properties of The Villages, was booked at about 4 a.m. Saturday at the Sumter County Detention Center on a charge of driving under the influence. She was taken into custody by Sumter County sheriff’s deputies. She was released after posting $2,000 bond.
According to her biography on The Villages’ website, Rottermond grew up south of Detroit and frequently visited her grandparents in The Villages. Rottermond moved to Florida and graduated from The Villages High School. She now lives in Wildwood and has three children who attend The Villages Charter School.
Rottermond’s mother Nikki Perry is also a sales representative at Properties of The Villages, according to her bio on The Villages’ site.
