To the Editor:

I find that I am always amused by the Bad Parking photos on this news site. I think it’s great that Villagers are always at the ready to shame one another over these misdeeds.

But here’s my question. Why no parking garages in The Villages? It would seem to be a much more efficient way to preserve precious space and have less asphalt acreage in the high-demand areas like the squares, and now, Eastport. Some parking garages include elevators which would be great for residents with mobility challenges. And cars would be in a covered environment rather than in the direct path of the brutal sun. Any answers?
