The home at 4319 Burgess Drive in the Village of Southern Oaks was purchased by George and Kathleen Thomas from Steven and Donna Raker for $1,525,000 on Feb. 17.
The Rakers were the first owners of the home, having purchased it for $907,700 on January 24, 2023. Accordingly, the most recent acquisition reflects a 68% increase over the home’s original price tag.
Situated on a 0.267-acre lot just west of Lake Okahumpka, the residence features 2,488 square feet of interior living space, and the property’s total adjusted gross area exceeds 4,000 square feet.
A layout shows that the garage compasses approximately 1,012 square feet.
Over two dozen of the residential and commercial properties sold in Sumter County this year have eclipsed the $1,000,000 sales mark, including several other homes in the Village of Southern Oaks.
