Harold Neumann, 82, went home to be with the Lord on March 4, 2026.

Harry loved his Lord and Savior and he lived in a way that made that love evident. His faith was not something he simply spoke about — it shaped who he was. As a longtime member of First Baptist Church of Bushnell, Harry faithfully taught Sunday School for many years and lifted his voice in the choir, worshiping the One he trusted with his life.
Harry spent his career shaping young lives as a school teacher, coach, and counselor.

He believed in discipline, encouragement, and showing up — on the field, in the classroom, and in everyday life. To many, he was more than a teacher… he was someone who believed in them when they needed it most. Over the years, he gathered quite a few “kids” who carried his influence with them long after they left his classroom or team.

He had an adventurous spirit. In his younger years, he skydived more than 1,500 times — proof that he was not afraid to step out into open air. He loved fishing, hunting, cheering on the Atlanta Braves, and sharing laughter with those around him.

Harry was the youngest of five children born to Walter and Arvilla Neumann.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Arvilla Neumann, and by his son, Brian Neumann.
Most of all, Harry loved his family. He is survived by his son, Louie Neumann and wife Danielle; his daughter, Pam Holland; and his daughter-in-law, Julie Neumann. He also leaves behind his grandchildren: Nicole Shaner, Sarah Chaney, Keith (Angie) Neumann, Nicole (Mitch) Holland, Cami Holland, Ashlenn Neumann, and Ryan Neumann, along with numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.

He also leaves behind a cherished companion in his later years, Judy, with whom he shared a deeply special and meaningful season of life.

Harry’s life was marked by faith, courage, devotion, and joy. While we grieve his absence, we rejoice knowing he is now fully in the presence of the Savior he loved so deeply.

Though no formal services are planned, his life and legacy will be remembered and cherished by all who knew him.
