A woman was arrested on a warrant Thursday after a video of her allegedly beating up someone at a flea market went viral on Facebook.

The altercation was captured at Swap-O-Rama’s Webster Westside Flea Market in Webster, on March 7, according to an arrest report from the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office. The promise of a car show and concert drew a large crowd, including 24-year-old Taleya Lakaye Key.

Another attendee recalled being pushed back by the throng, which caused her to bump into Key and her friends behind her. When this happened, Key started hitting her repeatedly. She ended up being thrown to the ground, where Key threw more punches, the report said.

The blows left a laceration on the attendee’s left eyebrow, splattering a large amount of blood on her face. She would later require stitches for this wound. She also sustained superficial cuts to her knees and legs. Meanwhile, another fight between her sister and Key’s sister broke out beside them, the report said.

The video of this incident went viral on Facebook. The attendee was able to identify Key as her attacker based on comments posted on the video, as well as matching what she was wearing at the time to Key’s profile pictures. Law enforcement came to the same conclusion, the report said.

Key, a resident of Gainesville, was ultimately arrested Thursday afternoon on a warrant charging her with aggravated battery and disorderly conduct. She was booked at the Sumter County Detention Center where she was initially held without bond.
