A Wildwood woman with a history of violence has been arrested on a warrant charging her with battery.
Danielle Renee Elliot, 47, was taken into custody by the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office on Monday afternoon. She has been charged with battery (second or subsequent offense) with bond set at $2,500.

Back in June 2025, an officer responded to her home on Gilliam Street when her boyfriend called to say she had battered him, according to an arrest report from the Wildwood Police Department. He had gone to a medical appointment that day, and he returned home to find that Elliott was drunk. She confronted him, saying he was “not welcome” and a “demon.”
He went into his bedroom to avoid a confrontation, but she followed him. She then threw various things at him, pushed him onto the bed, kicked him with her feet and knees, and punched him repeatedly. She also bit him on the face and lips, the report said.
They could not find her that day, but they established probable cause for her arrest. At the time, she already had two prior battery convictions from 2023 and 2024, the report said.
Officers returned to the home in September 2025 for another physical disturbance. Elliott had been drinking all afternoon, and the two victims found her in the backyard. While trying to calm her down, the female victim had her necklace ripped off and her shirt torn before falling to the ground, the report said.
The male victim saw the two fighting on the ground and tried to separate them. Instead, Elliott grabbed him by the shirt and dragged him down, too. In this case, she was arrested on charges of battery on person 65 years of age or older and battery (second or subsequent offense).
