To the Editor:
For something extremely relevant to all Villagers, you may want to reprint the Miami Herald’s article about Florida’s government taking them out their homes forcing them into a “rehab” center while an individual is assigned to steal their assets. The “rehab” centers are substandard facilities usually with kickbacks to the “caretaker” who stole the assets.

A state program to protect frail elders has the power to uproot and place them against their will in facilities cited for health violations.
