To the Editor:
The richest country on the the planet can’t provide healthcare for it’s citizens.
Sixteen million people have been dis-enrolled from Medicaid. Another 4 million Americans are not able to afford the healthcare premiums after the subsidies were cut at the start of this year.
Huge cuts to Medicaid are coming at the end of this year because of One Big Beautiful Bill which will hit Florida hard where 1 in 5 are on Medicaid.
But we have unlimited amount of money for wars and bombs. Couple days of expense on the wars could have paid for all the healthcare coverage needed right here for American citizens.
