
Norbert A. Michalak (August 20, 1937- April 13, 2026) was born in Buffalo, NY, moved to Wellston, OH in 1971, Ashland, KY in 1973 and resided in The Villages FL since 2001. An avid tennis player and true gentleman, always ready to help others, Norb was known for sharing tennis balls and oranges simply to make others happy.
Norbert was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Mary Ann, parents Stanley & Celia Michalak, his son David N. Michalak, brothers Daniel Michalak and Gerald Michalak, Brother in Law Stanley Dudziak, and sister in laws Gayle Michalak and Florence Dudziak.
He is survived by his daughters Dianne (Chuck) Mathews and Patricia (Dave) Porter, 9 grandchildren, Lauren (Emitt) Witt, Michelle (Jared) Miller, Brooke Mathews, Dwight Mathews, Luke Porter, Mark Porter, Anthony Porter, great grandson Emitt Witt V, sister in laws Janet Michalak and Gen Dudziak, brother in law Norman Dudziak, and nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to a Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, May 8, 2026 at St. Timothy Catholic Church 351 Paige Place, Lady Lake, FL 32159. Interment at Rose Hill Mausoleum in Ashland, KY.
In lieu of flowers, it was Norb’s wish that any memorial contributions be made to his son’s scholarship endowment fund, the David N. Michalak Scholarship.
