A lottery ticket worth over $117,000 was sold at a convenience store in Summerfield this week.

The winning ticket was sold at the Quick King Food Store #8, located at 14725 Southeast US Highway 441 in Summerfield. The convenience store shares the space with an Exxon Mobil gas station.

According to the Florida Lottery, the ticket was for the evening drawing of the Fantasy 5 game by the Florida Lottery on Wednesday, May 6.

The ticket was a “QuickPick” and was the only top-prize winning ticket sold for that specific drawing, resulting in a total prize amount of $117,957.17. As of Friday morning, the prize remained unclaimed.

Fantasy 5 is a daily game where players choose five numbers from 1 to 36.

While the Summerfield ticket took the entire top prize for the May 6 drawing, the following evening’s drawing on May 7 saw the top prize split between two winners in Wilton Manors and Live Oak, who each took home $57,456.33.

Earlier this year, another winning Fantasy 5 lottery ticket was sold at a Pilot Travel Center next to The Villages.
