A homeless man was arrested for trespassing at the Comfort Inn & Suites in The Villages.
Officers responded to Comfort Inn & Suites, located at 1202 Avenida Central, to check on the well-being of 59-year-old Brent Edward Burfield at 11:35 a.m. Friday, according to an arrest report from the Lady Lake Police Department.
Law enforcement found him in his room, where they recognized him from previous interactions. They also knew he had been trespassed from all of The Villages’ property in Lady Lake as of Feb. 18.
Burfield was charged with trespass after warning and booked at Lake County Jail. The Illinois native had bond set at $500.
