A ribbon-cutting event has been scheduled for a renovated golf course in The Villages.
The celebration is set for 9 a.m. Wednesday, June 17 at the Bonita Pass Executive Golf Course. Tee times will start at 10 a.m. and Villagers can begin booking tee times on Wednesday, June 10.
The Bonita Pass renovation cost $974,917. and was funded through the Project Wide Advisory Committee.
The renovation included new greens, tees, fairways with new turf varieties, new bunker sand and underdrain systems, as well as other course enhancements.
