A Lady Lake woman is officially the fastest cake decorator on the planet after smashing two Guinness World Records in a high-speed frosting frenzy.
Bridgette Anderson, a cake decorator at Sam’s Club in Lady Lake, traveled to Northwest Arkansas for Walmart’s Associates Week and on Wednesday she frosted her way into the record books.
She broke the Guinness World Record for the most cupcakes frosted in one minute by icing a staggering 62 cupcakes. She then set a brand new world record for the fastest time to frost 100 cupcakes, clocking in at exactly two minutes flat.
Anderson lives in Lady Lake with her husband, Kevin, who works in the Public Works Department for the Town of Lady Lake.
Long before she was a world champion, Anderson discovered her love of baking alongside her mother and grandmother. She went on to attend culinary school and took her talents across the globe, working for Norwegian Cruise Line and at bakeries in California and Florida. She joined Sam’s Club about three years ago.
Now, she spends her days crafting custom cakes and desserts for local shoppers — and holding the undisputed title of the fastest frosting slinger in the world.
