A Summerfield man was arrested after being pulled over without a license.
A deputy observed a blue 2010 Ford Focus at the intersection of County Road 229 and 228 in Wildwood around 11:30 a.m. Thursday, according to an arrest report from the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office. A check of the tag determined the driver, 44-year-old Maximo Serrano, did not have a driver’s license.

After being stopped, Serrano confirmed he did not have a license. He was then asked to step out of the vehicle to be arrested, the report said.
The New York native was charged with driving while license suspended or revoked and booked at the Sumter County Detention Center. He was released after posting $500 bond.
