Marcia Joan Spink, 85, passed away on June 11th, 2026, at her home in Bushnell, Florida, surrounded by her family.
Marcia was born on February 18th, 1941 in Grand Rapids, Michigan, to her parents Henry and Theresa Timmer. Marcia was a Baptist by faith. For 23 years, she volunteered as Treasurer at VFW Post #10137 Ladies Auxiliary, a job that she adored.
Both of Marcia’s husbands were veterans of the US Military, and Marcia held firm to her patriotism and love of her country. Marcia was known for her feisty personality, but ultimately, she was a loving and caring mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who thought the world of her family.
Marcia is predeceased by her parents, Henry and Theresa Timmer; her husbands, Michael Half acre and Donald Spink; her brothers, John and William Timmer; and her sisters, Helen Watts and Holly Timmer.
She is survived by her son, Michael (Barbara) Half acre; her daughter, Teresa Fulcher; her brother, Terry Timmer; her sister, Linda (Chris) Hill; 6 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
