A Lady Lake woman was jailed after an alleged attack on her man friend over a missing sex toy.
Sheila Rae Pavelec, 66, is facing a felony charge of battery following her arrest Tuesday at her home at Recreation Planation on County Road 466.
Pavelec accused her on-again off-again boyfriend, 71-year-old Stanley Foster Spink of Fruitland Park, of stealing her “dildo,” according to an arrest report from the Lake County Sheriff’s Office. She was enraged because her sex toy had gone missing.
The couple, who got engaged on May 18, got into an argument that soon turned physical. Spink grabbed the Wisconsin native by the forearm and she responded by slapping him. She left his Fruitland Park home and returned to her residence at Recreation Plantation.
Spink called 911 and when deputies came to interview him, he said he’d been slapped. The deputies went to Pavelec’s home and took her into custody. However, she showed them an abrasion on her forearm and said she suffered the injury when Spink grabbed her.
Spink was also arrested on a felony battery charge. The Massachusetts native was booked at the Lake County Jail. He was released after posting $1,000 bond.
Pavelec was also booked at the jail. She also posted $1,000 bond and was released.
