A new restaurant offering coastal cuisine and curated cocktails will open Monday in Middleton.
Zunzibar is located at 2310 Dr. Randy McDaniel Way in the family community, which is home to The Villages Charter School.
Zunzibar’s grand opening will be celebrated with a 2:45 p.m. ribbon cutting.
Some lucky diners were treated to a preview of the new restaurant this past week, and word-of-mouth reviews were mostly positive.
The restaurant leans toward outdoor seating, which can be a challenge considering the brutal Florida heat. However, the cocktails are cold, and that should make this time of year a bit more bearable.
There’s plenty of seafood on the menu, but also options for the fish-averse, including loaded tater tots, a chicken club and a chickpea shawarma wrap. Zunzibar also offers a late-night menu and takeout.
