To the Editor:

I had the opportunity to play the newly renovated Oakley Executive Golf Course this morning. You can only imagine my disappointment in the condition of this just-opened course after three months of rest and renovation. At least half of the greens had bare, brown spots all over, and several had freshly mowed weeds in abundance. Except for No. 2, which had a new green installed, the rest were little changed from before the shutdown. I am sending pictures of some of this to the maintenance manager, but surely he should already be aware of the conditions!
