A ribbon cutting has been set for next month after a $1 million renovation at a golf course in The Villages.
The reopening of the Truman Executive Golf Course will take place on Tuesday, July 14. The ribbon will be cut at 9 a.m., and tee times will start at 10 a.m. Tee times will open July 7.
In 2025, the Project Wide Advisory Committee authorized the $1.008 million renovation at Truman as part of a $5.2 million expenditure involving improvements at several courses.
Truman now has new greens, tees and fairways with new turf varieties, as well as new bunker sand.
