A BMW driver has been tracked down after allegedly exposing himself to a 15-year-old getting off a school bus in Sumter County.
Mason Bradley Fox, 24, of Lecanto, was arrested Tuesday on a felony charge of indecent exposure.
The girl said she had been dropped off by her school bus driver on May 26 near her home in Lake Panasoffkee, according to an arrest report from the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office. She noticed a blue 2018 BMW stopped nearby. As she was walking on the sidewalk, she noticed the man at the wheel of the BMW had his hand on his penis and was touching it.
The driver left and his vehicle was captured on the surveillance system of a nearby business. The surveillance captured the license plate number.
A detective tracked down Fox and interviewed him.
“Do a I need a lawyer?” Fox asked the detective.
The girl was able to pick Fox out of a photo lineup.
Fox was taken into custody and booked at the Sumter County Detention Center. He was released after posting $20,000 bond.
