Bertha Hilliard Conway, 89, of Lake Panasoffkee, Florida, passed away on June 22, 2026 in Inverness, Florida.
Bert was born to Mitchell and Bessie Hilliard on January 20, 1937. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Lake Panasoffkee. She enjoyed watching the news, and was very outspoken about her beliefs. She found joy in watching the Rays play baseball and the Buccaneers play football. She enjoyed traveling to Alaska and different places around the United States.
She is survived by her granddaughter, Nicole Tata (Ravi) of Clermont, Florida, great grandchildren: Veda, Vyom, and Vara, and many loving nieces, nephews, and extended family members. Bert was preceded in death by her daughters, Cheryle Renee Conway and Victoria Conway Burns, and her loving dog Buttons.
A service will be held for Bert at Purcell Chapel, Beyers Funeral Home of Bushnell, Florida on Friday, July 3, 2026 at 11:00 a.m., with a viewing from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. An interment will follow at the Garden of Memories Cemetery, Webster, Florida.
