To the Editor:
With the 250th anniversary of our country less than a week away, it is certainly a perfect time to celebrate. It is not just an excuse to celebrate, but an opportunity to be proud that we have been part of the greatest country in the history of the world. So many things have been done to make America a better place for its citizens and the rest of the world by freeing many from tyranny. However, the problem now is that many Americans do not have any allegiance to America and are not proud of it.
They actually hate what America stands for and its traditional norms. They think it is a bigoted, racist country that lacks opportunity for the lower and middle class. We hear reports that many foreigners attending the World Cup are pleasantly surprised to learn that America is a much better place than they have been told by the propaganda news media.
Many Americans are just finishing the celebration of Pride Month. Their pride is not in America, but is focused on breaking through traditional respect and sexual norms. They have painted themselves as the oppressed and believe they have finally shaken off the bonds of their restraint.
Consequently, we cannot celebrate both America’s 250th birthday and Pride Month. They have diametrically opposite ideologies. One is building America and making it freer and stronger. The other is bent on destroying freedom in America and replacing it with cultural, governmental, and religious tyranny.
Most of us identify Pride Month as simply a sexual liberation month. However, that is just part of the story. The main story is their rebellion against legitimate authority—the God that created everything, including the traditional family, government, and the church. They are rebelling against God, Jesus, the Bible, Christians, and Jews. There is not one cultural, political, or religious position they hold that is consistent with biblical principles.
The Bible, in Romans Chapter 1, describes the degradation of those who reject the Creator. In verse 18, we learn that their unrighteous thoughts and actions give them a conflict of interest with the truth, so they are forced to suppress it. Verses 19 and 20 make it clear that God has shown them the truth through nature, so they are without excuse. Verses 21 and 22 state that because they did not respect God, their hearts were darkened and they became fools. Verses 23–25 indicate that because man started glorifying an image of corruptible man rather than giving glory to God, God gave them over to the lusts of their hearts. Verses 26 and 27 describe how God gave them up to vile passions and homosexuality. In verse 28, God gave them over to a debased mind. In verses 29–31, God lists the evil attributes that people opposing Him will assume.
The Jew-haters are sympathetic with Islamic Hamas and the Palestinians. That means they are embracing Islam’s God, Allah. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to determine which spiritual influence is leading the “Pride Month” movement.
We do not hate those who are deceived by a Luciferian worldview, nor do we glory in their ultimate punishment. We want them to make a 180-degree turnaround so they will change their eternal destiny to one of eternal bliss. However, God, being the gentleman He is, allows us to make our own choices. Only you get to choose your worldview and your eternal destiny.
