It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Charles Thomas Gaddy.
He was born on April 21, 1938, in Flint, Michigan. He was a long-time resident of Sumter County, Florida. Charlie passed away peacefully on June 25, 2026.
Charles was the son of the late Charles Monroe and Lola Edith Gaddy.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Barbara Pauline Gaddy.
Charlie is survived by his loving son, Douglas (Brenda), two grandchildren Bryan Gaddy (Kelly) and Brittany Shipman (Chris), and three great grandchildren Zoe and Zane Gaddy and Dallas Griffith. Charles had several nieces, nephews, and friends. Charles served his country honorably in the U.S. Air Force.
He was well known for his sense of humor, generous heart, and warm smile.
