The League of Women Voters of The Villages/Tri-County Florida is inviting the public to a meet-and-greet with candidates appearing on the upcoming Lake County ballot.
The event will take place from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, July 11, at the Universal Unitarian Congregation of Lake County, located at 1235 Mt. Homer Road in Eustis.
Voters will have the opportunity to speak directly with candidates running for the U.S. House of Representatives, the Florida House of Representatives, and various local Lake County offices to gain deeper insights into their respective platforms.
Organizers stated the event is a continuation of LWV’s nonpartisan mission to empower voters by providing them with the firsthand information they need to make well-informed decisions at the ballot box this election season.
